Ship Truong Sa 4 was selected as the central polling station for fishermen and soldiers on duty at sea. Thorough preparations have been carried out in strict accordance with regulations.
Senior Lieutenant Phan Sy Thien, Political Officer of Ship Truong Sa 4, Flotilla 1, Brigade 125, Naval Region 2, said, “The officers and soldiers on the ship have fully prepared the polling booths, communication materials, banners, and slogans in line with the guidelines. We are determined to successfully complete all assigned tasks.”

Due to their offshore missions, many naval officers and soldiers can’t return to the mainland to vote on March 15. But they’re still guaranteed their full civic rights and responsibilities. For many of them, this will be the first time they cast their ballot in the middle of the ocean.

Major Dinh Van Thu of Ship 706, Naval Group 128, said, “After 32 years in the military, this is the first time I’ve voted at sea. I feel very honored and proud.”
