At the Assembly’s Thursday discussion of reports on the current term of the President, the Government, central agencies, and the work of the 15th legislature, Chairman Man said that a review of the National Assembly Secretary General shows that deputies basically agreed with the results stated in the reports.
Deputy Tran Thi Thu Phuoc of Quang Ngai delegation applauded the Government and the Prime Minister's tenure for successfully accomplishing tasks assigned by the Constitution. “The average GDP growth in the 2021-2025 period is estimated at 6.3% per year, higher than the 2016-2020 period of 6.25%. Growth of 8.3-8.5% in 2025 will expand the size of Vietnam's economy to 510 billion USD, ranking 32nd in the world, with GDP per capita reaching 5,000 USD. This is a clear demonstration of the resilience and strong recovery of the Vietnamese economy,” she said.
Deputy Duong Khac Mai of Lam Dong delegation praised the 15th term of the National Assembly, adding “The term has faced unprecedented changes in history, from the Covid-19 pandemic to the post-pandemic global economic downturn, especially the requirements for economic recovery, institutional reform, organizational restructuring and digital transformation. The National Assembly has completed a huge amount of work, with higher requirements for quality and progress.”
Deputies said that during the President's term, Vietnam’s foreign affairs has been carried out in a proactive, flexible and effective manner, making an important contribution to the Party and State's foreign policy success.
