(VOVworld) – Poland temporarily restored border checks with its EU neighbors in the Schengen area and paused border traffic regulations near the Russian province of Kaliningrad and the border area with Ukraine.

Poland enhances security for upcoming NATO Summit in July

Plans are being made to increase security for the NATO summit in Warsaw (8-9 July) and World Youth Days, to be held in Krakow, southern Poland, on 26-31 July. Random checks are being carried out on individuals based on risk analysis and information provided by security services in other countries.
