Officials in Warsaw confirmed the delivery of the first batch of  battle tanks to Ukraine during Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki’s visit to Kyiv on the one-year anniversary of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Poland will send an additional 60 PT-91 Twardy main battle tanks to Ukraine  "in the coming days.”

Speaking at a joint press conference with Ukrainian  President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv, Morawiecki said that Poland and European countries will always stand with Ukraine.  

The US, the UK and Germany also pledged to send tanks to Ukraine including M1 Abrams tanks.
