At the meeting, Prime Minister Chinh praised the efforts and socio-economic achievements of the Party Committee, government, army and people of Dak Lak province, which he said have made important contributions to the overall achievements of the whole country.

The Prime Minister has pointed out challenges and requested Dak Lak to boost socio-economic development to soon reach the national average level. On the basis of rapid and sustainable socio-economic development, efforts should be made to develop ecological space, promote ethnic cultural identities, and become a unique destination, attractive to domestic and international tourists, he said.

He stressed the need to turn Buon Ma Thuot city into the center of the Central Highlands, the gateway to integration and connection with the region and the world, where people enjoy a quality life with good social services, a guaranteed environment, job opportunities and high income.
