The Prime Minister requested a focus on reviewing progress and coordination between provinces in providing materials for project implementation. The Can Tho-Ca Mau section is the last section of the transnational expressway running vertically throughout the country from Lang Son to Ca Mau.

11 components of the project spanning nearly 700 km has to date been completed. Completing the project on time has important implications for the entire expressway, opening new development space and connecting localities in the northern, central and southern regions.
