PM vows continued support for businesses’ sustainable development

(VOVWORLD) - The Government will continue to create fundamentals for businesses to grow effectively and sustainably, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said at a meeting in Hanoi on Tuesday to mark Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13).

Mr. Chinh told representatives from the business community in Vietnam that the Government identifies enterprises as both the centre and the subject of development, in the spirit of “benefits are harmonised, risks are shared.” 

“We call on entrepreneurs to promote unity to overcome challenges and contribute more to building a strong and prosperous Vietnam. We are grateful for the business community’s support for Vietnam’s national construction and defense,” said the PM.

PM Chinh said that the Government is urgently finalizing temporary guidance on safe, flexible adaptation to and effective control of COVID-19 to create favorable conditions for production and business activities.

At present, Vietnam has about 850,000 businesses, more than 25,000 cooperatives and about 5.6 million individual business households.
