Addressing the 7th National Congress of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) for the 2021-2026 term, Prime Minister Chinh said VCCI’s overarching task is linking and promoting the total strength and solidarity of the Vietnamese business community for national interests and the legitimate rights and interests of each enterprise.
In the immediate future, VCCI and the business community need to actively participate in and join the whole country in implementing the 13th National Party Congress’s Resolution, performing well in pandemic prevention and control, and safe and flexible adaptation for socio-economic recovery and development, he added.
Prime Minister Chinh said: "Continuously building and strengthening VCCI to truly become a national organization that gathers and represents the business community, entrepreneurs, employers and business associations in Vietnam. VCCI represents nearly 200,000 member enterprises. It is necessary to establish the reputation of a national organization that gathers and represents the whole Vietnamese business community."
