Meeting Mongolian Ambassador to Vietnam Jigjee Sereejav in Hanoi on Wednesday, Prime Minister Chinh said he believes that during his term in Vietnam, the Ambassador will be a bridge to promote people-to-people exchanges and make important contributions to developing the traditional friendship between the two countries.

He suggested that the Ambassador closely cooperate with Vietnamese agencies to maintain exchange of delegations and contacts at all levels and said Vietnam is always ready to welcome Mongolian leaders to visit Vietnam. The Prime Minister also suggested that both continue to promote security and defense cooperation, increase import and export of goods, and organize trade and investment promotion conferences.

Ambassador Sereejav affirmed that Mongolia values its relationship with Vietnam and considers Vietnam an important partner in the Asia-Pacific region. Mongolia wants to learn Vietnam's development experiences, upgrade relations with Vietnam, and boost complementary advantages between the two countries, he said.
