The meeting centered around the UN Summit of the Future, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), climate change response, the Political Declaration establishing the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP), digital transformation, and food system transformation.

PM Chinh asked UN organizations in Vietnam to provide policy advice and help Vietnam access international resources in science, technology, and innovation, improve its governance capacity, and train human resources. He emphasized Vietnam’s goal of becoming a country with modern industry and upper-middle income by 2030 and high income by 2045.

UN Resident Coordinator Pauline Tamesis and the other UN representatives praised Vietnam's role, commitments, and contributions to UN mechanisms. They said they welcome Vietnam's efforts to deliver on the shared priorities of the UN and the international community to preserve peace and promote sustainable development.
