PM receives Cuban National Assembly President

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh thanked the Party, State, Government and people of Cuba for the sincere gestures of condolence and encouragement, and the brotherly friendship between the two countries at Wednesday reception for President of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba Esteban Lazo Hernández, who is in Hanoi for the national funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Hernandez conveyed the deep condolences of the Party, State, Government and people of Cuba to the Party, State, Government and people of Vietnam and personally from Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. He affirmed that the Cuban people always stand side by side with the Vietnamese people in any situation.

PM Chinh reiterated Vietnam's consistent policy in consolidating and developing the special brotherly relationship, faithful solidarity, traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation with Cuba.

He emphasized that the Government of Vietnam will always support the Government and people of Cuba, continue to share experiences and promote comprehensive and effective cooperation with Cuba, especially in trade, agriculture, renewable energy and pharmaceutical sectors.
