PM praises Ministry of Defence’s support in COVID-19 control in Bac Ninh, Bac Giang

(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has praised Ministry of Defence for its active and prompt support of human resources, materials, means, equipment and field hospitals to help the two northern provinces of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh soon take control of the epidemic, maintain socio-economic development and stabilise people’s lives.

The Defence Ministry last Wednesday quickly established two infectious field hospitals at Base 2 of the Political Military Officer School in Bac Ninh City, and at the Regiment 831 under the Military Command of Bac Giang Province in Tan Yen District. These two hospitals are responsible for receiving and treating COVID-19 patients until they are no longer infectious and have recovered. All patients are collected and handed over to the locality for continuous isolation and monitoring for enough time as prescribed.
