Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh meets representatives of Vietnamese women on the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20.

At a meeting with outstanding Vietnamese women in Hanoi on Tuesday for Vietnamese Women’s Day (October 20), Prime Minister Chinh highlighted Vietnamese policies on gender equality, women’s health, and job generation. He asked ministries and sectors to review policies on women and children and focus on support for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. He said the government will work out policies to help female workers in industrial parks, focusing on accommodation, kindergartens, and schools. 

Prime Minister Chinh asked the Women’s Union to make efforts towards family building and sustainable poverty reduction and mobilize women to engage more in the fight against COVID-19.
