(VOVworld)- On Saturday, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended a conference on investment promotion in Ha Nam province. Speaking to more than 400 representatives of Vietnamese and foreign businesses, Ha Nam leaders promised favorable conditions for investors.

They pledged to improve infrastructure and essential services concerning power and water supply, telecommunications, waste treatment systems, and license granting procedures. The province in coordination with the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam pledged to grant credits worth 20 trillion VND for major projects in the province. In his address, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said:
“It’s necessary to reform the planning process, increase contributions from businesses, the public, experts and relevant sectors. Local authorities at all levels need to share with investors their difficulties. The province needs to improve its dialogue mechanism”.
The Prime Minister said in addition to attracting foreign direct investment, Ha Nam province needs to pay more attention to domestic enterprises and environmental protection.
