PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc receives Harvard University professor

(VOVWORLD) - Education and training are a priority of Vietnam-US cooperative relations, said Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at a reception in Hanoi on Wednesday for Prof. Thomas Vallely, Director of the Vietnam Programme at Harvard University.

Mr. Phuc said Fullbright University Vietnam (FUV) can find funds to operate effectively with the support of Harvard University and Vietnam. He spoke highly of the qualifications of lecturers at FUV, saying that their recommendations have had a positive impact on Vietnam's development.

Prof. Vallely thanked the Vietnamese Government for its support for the establishment of the FUV and vowed to make the university a reputable and high-quality education institution.
