(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung urged Vinh Long province to promote its industries of comparative advantages for socio-economic development. His remark was made during a visit to the province while attending centennial anniversary meeting of the late Chairman of the Council of Ministers Pham Hung. Prime Minister Dung: “The great advantage of Vinh Long province is agriculture including rice production, fruit growing and fisheries. The province needs to exploit their potentials and give greater attention to production by applying current techniques and promoting management. This will help us foster efficiency and competitiveness to bring our products to both domestic and international markets, contributing to increase income, thus reduce poverty”.

PM Dung called on Vinh Long province to carefully implement its social safety policies, further invest in infrastructure for education and healthcare, and improve the quality of education, training and healthcare services.
