He said most SOE’s have seen better revenue and profit after equitization while successfully performing assigned political tasks. He asked for the completion of equitization of 289 businesses as planned and better governance mechanism to boost productivity.
He called for less state dominant share holding in the inclusion of more SOE’s in the pipeline for equitization. He urged the steering committee on corporate reform and expansion to cooperate with ministries to addressing emerging problems in SOE’s restructuring.
