(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen tan Dung met with a number of role models and outstanding war invalids and martyrs’ families from the northwestern provinces on Wednesday. They are in Hanoi to attend an art program celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Steering Committee for the Northwestern region.
Prime Minister Dung asked the administrations and Party committees of the northwestern provinces to make greater efforts to achieve sustainable growth and consolidate national defense, security and unity. He also asked the Steering Committee to work closely with provinces in the region to build a border of peace, solidarity, stability, cooperation, and development with neighboring countries.
