At their meeting, PM Phuc and his Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong agreed to implement a host of activities celebrating the 45th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties in 2018.

They reached a consensus on considering the opening of air routes linking Singapore with Vietnam’s Da Lat and Nha Trang resort cities as well as the increase of frequency of existing flights, and speeding up negotiations on a labour agreement.

Meeting with Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha, the Vietnamese government leader suggested the two sides accelerate the organisation of their joint committee on bilateral cooperation’s third meeting and the joint Cabinet retreat this year.

Meeting Myanmar’s State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, PM Phuc expressed his hope to soon welcome her in Vietnam and co-chair the ninth meeting of the joint committee on bilateral cooperation. Aung San Suu Kyi said she will conveyed Phuc’s invitation to the sixth Summit of the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS) and the GMS Business Forum to Myanmar leaders.
