Mr. Phuc said Vietnam’s Government and relevant agencies vow to offer favorable conditions for Japanese firms to run businesses in the country. The Prime Minister added with its population of more than 96 million, Vietnam is seen as a potential market for Japanese apparel products. Japanese business operations in Vietnam will contribute to fostering strategic partnership between the two nations.

Yanai Tadashi said his firm will develop a retail system in Vietnam in the time to come, with a particular focus on garment and textile products.
