He commended Hai Duong for its success in poverty reduction. The multidimensional poverty rate among households in the province has dropped to 1.34%, compared to the national rate of 2.9%.
The Prime Minister said he hopes that Hai Duong province in general and Chi Linh city in particular will pay attention to social security so that all people have equal access to health, education, sports, and all will have a reunion and enjoy Tet.
Later Wednesday, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh offered incense at the Memorial of President Ho Chi Minh in Nam Chinh commune, Nam Sach district, Hai Duong province.
