Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his spouse Le Thi Bich Tran leave Hanoi on June 5, 2025, for UNOC 3 and bilateral activities in France; and official visits to Estonia and Sweden.

This marks the first time a Vietnamese Prime Minister has attended the UN Ocean Conference. It is also the Prime Minister’s first visit to France since the two countries elevated their ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in October 2024.

Additionally, it is the first visit to Estonia by a senior Vietnamese leader since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1992, and the first visit to Sweden by a Vietnamese Government leader in seven years.
