The government convenes monthly meeting of October

The Prime Minister said there were several important events in October including the 4^th Plenum of the 13^th Party Central Committee and the 2^nd session of the 15^th National Assembly. He said the government prepared several documents and reports to submit to the Party Central Committee and the National Assembly focusing on socio-economic development and the fight against the pandemic. The government issued Resolution 128 on temporary regulations on safe, flexible adaptation and effective containment of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Prime Minister said that regulations under Resolution 128 are prompt to the situation.

Regarding external affairs, the Prime Minister attended the 38^th and 39^th ASEAN Summits and the 26^th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26), paid a visit to the UK and an official visit to France.

The Prime Minister asked cabinet members to discuss, thoroughly evaluate the situation in the last 10 months, and work out measures for November and December, - the two important months for economic recovery and growth and social security. Prime Minister Chinh said it’s time for the government to prepare plans concerning economic restructuring until 2025, green growth, the fight against the pandemic, and economic recovery until 2023.
