PM chairs Government meeting for April

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Tuesday chaired the regular Government meeting for April to assess the socio-economic performance, public investment disbursement, the implementation of three national target programs, the direction and administration of the Government and the Prime Minister in April and the key tasks of May and beyond.

PM Chinh acknowledged what were achieved in April, which he said is a historic month marked by the successful organization of the 50th anniversary of national reunification, and major infrastructure projects inaugurated or launched. Relevant ministries and agencies drafted the largest number of bills and resolutions for debates at the Party Central Committee plenum and National Assembly session.

The Prime Minister applauded the ministries and sectors for promptly drafting and submitting to the Politburo for promulgation Resolution No. 68 dated May 4 on private economic development. He requested the Government members and delegates attending the meeting to focus on evaluating the situation in May and the following months, while proposing tasks and solutions to boost rapid and sustainable growth.
