In an article published Thursday, entitled “Maintaining macro-economic stability, creating favorable conditions for businesses, and promoting rapid and sustainable development”, PM Phuc said Vietnam needs to continue its efforts to create a more stable macro foundation and promote manufacturing to realize the goals of socio-economic development set by the Resolutions of the Party and the National Assembly.

Mr. Phuc emphasized key elements of operating the macro economy: effective and flexible coordination in policy, careful consideration of each policy’s impact, close monitoring of developments in the international and domestic situation to find appropriate solutions for practical problems, building a transparent public information system and analytical capacity, and focusing on human factors in macro management.

PM Phuc urged the government to effectively implement monetary and fiscal policies, wisely distribute resources across the country, promote the development of businesses, and create a solid micro platform for macro stability. He also called for effective use of technical support, strengthening macro-economic forecasting capabilities, and improving the overall quality of policy coordination.
