In his address, the Prime Minister stressed the need to build a modern, inclusive, sustainable multi-tiered social security system and promptly help workers respond to risks and overcome difficulties. Prime Minister Chinh stressed the need to improve awareness about ensuring occupational safety and health for employees and employers. 

He asked trade unions to pay more attention to protecting the legitimate rights and interest of trade union members and contribute to completing policies and laws concerning workers. 

The Prime Minister said: "With a strong determination and effort, I hope and believe that Vietnamese trade unions, the labor, invalids and social affairs sector, employees and employers nationwide will continue to bring into play their achievements and strive to fulfill their tasks."
