(VOV) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung is in Laos at the invitation of his Laotian counterpart Thongsing Thammavong to attend several summits to strengthen development links.

PM Dung today/ on Tuesday chaired the 7th Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle Summit (CLV 7). Held every two years with the participation of the Prime Ministers of the three countries as well as leaders of relevant ministries, sectors, and localities, the event this year reviewed the implementation of agreements reached at CLV 6, and defined plans to promote future cooperation among the three countries.

Dung also attended the 6th Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Vietnam Summit (CLMV 6) to discuss cooperation.

On Wednesday, he will participate in the 5th Ayeyawadi-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy Summit (ACMECS 5). He will visit some northern provinces of Laos following the summits.
