PM Chinh addressed a teleconference between the Government and the 63 provinces and centrally-run cities to review the 2022 performance and carry out the Party Central Committee’s conclusions and the National Assembly’s resolution on the socio-economic development plan for 2023. The event was attended by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.
The Prime Minister requested unifying awareness and effective implementation to maintain macroeconomic stability, control inflation, boost growth, and ensure major balances of the economy in line with the situation of 2023.
He said efforts should be made to promote institutional improvement; strengthen discipline; step up the fight against corruption, negativity and wastefulness; restructure the economy associated with growth model reform to create a foundation for improving productivity, efficiency and competitiveness, contributing to building an independent and self-reliant socialist-oriented market economy with substantive, comprehensive and extensive integration.
