(VOVworld) – A photo exhibition featuring the Dien Bien Phu victory opened in Vung Chua, Quang Dong commune in Quang Binh province on Sunday.

The exhibition praises the glorious feat of arms of the Vietnamese people under the leadership of the party, President Ho Chi Minh and General Vo Nguyen Giap. The 60 photos on display help visitors get a glimpse of the Dien Bien Phu campaign and the images of General Giap in Dien Bien. Le Van Hoa, a war veteran in Bo Trach district says: “These photos recount the ups and downs in Vietnam’s history and the life of General Vo Nguyen Giap. He was truly a general of the people. I particularly like the photo of the General visiting people in Dien Bien, which reflects his care for ethnic people in the northwestern region.”
