(VOVworld) – A photo competition titled “Swedish innovations through Vietnamese lenses” was launched in Hanoi on Wednesday.

Within the framework of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Sweden, the contest seeks photos that vividly depict the use of Swedish innovations in Vietnam’s daily basis. The innovations may feature zippers, safety matches, and three-point seatbelts. Swedish Ambassador to Vietnam Camilla Mellander highlighted the role of the contest in promoting the bilateral relations between Vietnam and Sweden. : "We want to make a photo competition because we think that it could be very interesting to see how Swedish innovations are used on a daily basis in Vietnam. This is the continuation of our very good relations. We’ve had a lot of cooperation in all fields. We think that the competition in connection to the innovative Sweden exhibition will further promote our bilateral trade relations."

The award ceremony will take place at the “Innovative Sweden” exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City in November.
