(VOVworld) – The photo collection featuring the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail in Laos during the 1961-1975 period was handed over to the Museum of History of the Lao People’s Army on Thursday.

The photo exhibition of the HCM Trail in Laos was opened in Vientiane, Laos, in September to mark the 55th anniversary of the Tay Truong Son (West Truong Son) road.
Major general Vanthong Kongmany, Deputy Director General of the Laos General Political Department, said at the ceremony: “Nearly 100 pictures of the Ho Chi Minh -West Truong Son road taken from 1961 to 1975 are important historical documents in enhancing the traditional relationship and special cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
It will enrich the documents in the Museum of History of the Lao People’s Army and help educate young people and soldiers of the bravery of Vietnamese and Lao soldiers. It will also attract more visitors to our museum."
