(VOVWORLD) - A bilingual photo book titled "Vietnam – Un voyage mémoriel" (Vietnam – a journey of memory), released in Paris on Tuesday, offers a visual bridge between Vietnam and France as Vietnam prepares for the 80th anniversary of its August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).

The book is the work of French writer-photographer Dominique de Miscault and Vietnamese cultural scholar Dr. Hoang Thi Hong Ha.

It weaves three decades of images into an emotional journey through Vietnam. The book features familiar scenes such as Ho Chi Minh portraits hanging in family homes, a flag-raising ceremony at Ba Dinh Square, Long Bien Bridge, and the Tay people’s Then ritual in Lang Son to the lives of coastal fishermen.
