The first visit to Vietnam by President Ferdinand Marcos since he took office in June 2022 affirms the solid strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Philippines, contributes to political trust, creates momentum to promote cooperation, and strengthens ASEAN’s solidarity and centrality.

During the visit, the Philippine President will hold talks with President Vo Van Thuong and meet with key Vietnamese leaders.
