(VOVworld) - The Embassy of Peru in Vietnam will host a Peruvian Cuisine Week for the first time as part of a range of activities marking 21 years of Vietnam-Peru diplomatic ties (1994-2015).

The event, being held from July 27^th - 31^st at the Hilton Hanoi Opera Hotel, aims to offer Peru’s culture and gastronomy to the Vietnamese people. At the event, two Peruvian chefs from the Hilton Lima Hotel will share their experiences and tips on making traditional food and dishes. A workshop showcasing two Peruvian functional foods, maca and quinoa, will also be organized as a sideline event.
