Party, State leaders present Tet gifts to disadvantaged households

(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue on Wednesday visited and presented gifts to poor households and disadvantaged children in Thung Nai and Binh Thanh communes in the northern province of Hoa Binh ahead of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival.

Mr. Hue reiterated that the Party and State’s policy is to ensure all Vietnamese people can enjoy a happy Tet. He extended his New Year wishes to all people in Hoa Binh and hoped for their achievements in production and businesses.

The Deputy Prime Minister presented gifts to 500 poor households and 300 underprivileged students. Authorities from Hoa Binh province also delivered 100 gifts to local poor families. 

Also on Wednesday, Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan paid pre-Tet visits to officers and soldiers of the Military Zone 7 High Command and the Party Committee and administration of District 3.
