(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese leaders on Tuesday offered incense in tribute to fallen combatants at the Martyr’s Monument and paid tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum in Hanoi for the occasion of the 75th War Invalid’s and Martyr’s Day (July 27).

The leaders, including President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, expressed their profound gratitude to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the struggle of national liberation, reunification and well-being of the people.

The same day, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue offered flowers and incense at the municipal martyr’s cemetery in the central province of Quang Ngai.

Visiting national contributors in the province, Mr. Hue said that the Party and State have always paid special attention to and prioritized resources for the implementation of policies that support people who served the nation.
