At the meeting, General Secretary Lam said that a new vision for the province development after the merger needs to be re-positioned in the overall space of regional linkage and placed on the East-West strategic economic corridor connecting the Central Highlands and Central Coast of Vietnam, Southern Laos, Northeastern Cambodia, and Thailand.
“Urgently review, integrate, and update provincial planning, ensuring consistency with regional and national planning, effectively exploiting the locality’s comprehensive advantages and expanding new development space. The vision must be based on a foundation of ecological and economic diversity, aiming for green, inclusive, and sustainable growth.”
The Party leader asked the two localities to prepare well for Party Congresses at all levels, ensuring the principles, progress, quality, and harmonious arrangements between localities.
