Speaking at a ceremony to mark the 75th founding anniversary of the Alliance of Arts and Literature Associations of Vietnam in Hanoi on Tuesday, the Party leader stressed the need to encourage, promote, work out policies and allocate resources for culture, arts and literature activities to further tap their potential for national development in the coming years.

"I strongly believe that Vietnam’s revolutionary arts and literature and Vietnamese artists who have been fostered and tested in the past revolutionary struggles and the current national renewal and development, will continue the achievements we have obtained in the last 75 years. We will overcome difficulties and challenges to create better works about Vietnam, its land and its people," Mr. Trong said.
