Ceremony commemorates the 60th anniversary of the Party's Internal Affairs tradition and receives the Ho Chi Minh Order for the second time |
Speaking at the ceremony, General Secretary Lam said internal affairs is key for protecting the Party, the regime, and the legitimate rights and interests of the people.
In the new era of development, the Party's internal affairs sector must continue to uphold its glorious traditions of the past 60 years; fulfill its central and coordinating role; and prioritize preventing waste to liberate and effectively utilize resources for development, he said.

“The Party's internal affairs sector must create more powerful, effective, and sustainable changes in the fight against corruption, waste, and negative phenomena. This strategic, long-term task that must be carried out persistently, regularly, and without interruption. It must absolutely not be done in a campaign-like manner," General Secretary Lam added, "The sector must embody the Party's determination in the fight against corruption, waste, and negative phenomena under the mantra "without forbidden zones or exceptions" and "Everyone is equal before the law". It’s a symbol that strengthens the people's trust in the Party, State, and regime.”
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Party General Secretary To Lam presented the Ho Chi Minh Order (second class) to the Party Central Committee’s Internal Affairs Commission.
