Chairing a working session with the Party Committees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant agencies on Monday, General Secretary Lam reaffirmed the Party’s guiding principle that strengthening foreign affairs and international integration is a “key and regular” task. He highlighted the importance of coordinating the three pillars – defense, security, and foreign affairs.
The General Secretary requested the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to boost coordination in proactively, synchronously and effectively implementing foreign affairs and international integration tasks. In particular, he stressed the need to continue to grasp the situation, further enhance the quality, efficiency and timeliness of research work, and advise the Party and State leaders on major decisions and policies of strategic importance to the country.

Party leader Lam said he believes that Vietnamese diplomacy will continue to nurture peace, expand development space, raise the country's profile, and actively contribute to the successful implementation of the two 100-year goals set by the Party, steering Vietnam to strong, prosperous, eternal, and sustainable development.
