General Secretary Lam requested the sector to continue to renew mindset, act more decisively and effectively, and fully institutionalize the Party's guidelines on agriculture, farmers, and rural areas, resource management, environmental protection, and climate change response into the legal system. 

“Science and technology, innovation, digital transformation and data must become key driving forces. Put science and technology into the center of agricultural production, from plant and animal varieties, biotechnology, and automation, to traceability, logistics, and digital commerce. Encourage the model of “scientists–businesses–cooperatives–farmers” to participate in the value chain.”

The General Secretary requested proactive adaptation to climate change, especially in the Mekong Delta, north central region, Central Highlands, and coastal areas.

On this occasion, Party leader To Lam presented the First Class Labor Order to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
