Party leader To Lam meets overseas Vietnamese in Singapore

(VOVWORLD) - General Secretary To Lam met Tuesday with officials and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore and more than 200 representatives of the Vietnamese community in the resident country as part of his official visit to Singapore.

At the meetings, the General Secretary emphasized that his visit aims to further strengthen the Vietnam-Singapore relationship, which has been nurtured for over half a century and proven resilient over time. He highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation in all fields, making the bilateral relationship more effective and substantive.

On this occasion, General Secretary To Lam provided an update on Vietnam’s current situation and future development goals, expressing his hope that the overseas Vietnamese community, particularly those in Singapore, would continue to unite and contribute to the realization of Vietnam's strategic development goals.

The same day, General Secretary To Lam met with a group of overseas Vietnamese intellectuals in Singapore to exchange ideas and gather recommendations for development policies.
