(VOVworld) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong underlined the importance of  the people’s consensus and support for national sustainable development during a working session with Nhan Hoa commune’s authorities and people in My Hao district, Hung Yen province on Sunday. The visit was aimed at checking socio-economic development, the building of new rural areas and the building of the Party and the political system during the 2010-2013 period.

Trong said economic development tasks should be combined with party building and rectification to make the party and political system stronger and more transparent, thus preventing bureaucracy, corruption and waste and creating high consensus and support from the people.

The Party leader called on Nhan Hoa commune in particular and Hung Yen province in general to effectively utilize land resources, generate jobs and improve the living standards of the local people, especially those who have shifted from agricultural production to industry and service sectors.

With regards to party building, Trong urged Party committees at all levels and each Party member to identify their shortcomings and weaknesses after self-criticism and criticism.
