Ms. Tamura Tomoko is elected the Chairperson of the Presidium of the 29th Party Central Committee.

Mr. Trong expressed his belief that the Japanese Communist Party will successfully implement the Resolution of the 29th Congress, growing stronger, while enhancing its prestige and position in Japan, and actively contributing to peace, friendship, cooperation and development throughout the region and across the world.

The Vietnamese Party leader highlighted the development of the traditional solidarity and friendship between the two Parties, affirming his readiness to work with the new leadership of the Communist Party of Japan to strengthen theoretical exchange and coordination at multilateral forums.
