(VOVworld) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong met with voters in Hoan Kiem and Ba Dinh district in Hanoi on Tuesday.

He briefed them on the outcomes of the recent National Assembly session and acknowledged their opinions on a number of issues. Voters said the National Assembly should monitor what cabinet members are doing to realize their promises made at Q&A sessions. Phung Duy Man said: “The National Assembly has done a good job in terms of legislation. It has proposed many measures to help Vietnam address the consequences of the world economic downturn including cutting unnecessary jobs and increasing salaries.”  

Also on Tuesday permanent member of the Party Secretariat Le Hong Anh met with voters in Can Tho city.
