In the letter, General Secretary Lam said he believes that with the proud tradition of the past 80 years, the diplomatic sector will continue to promote its pioneering role in proactively and actively seizing opportunities, turning challenges into opportunities, and effectively contributing to the successful implementation of the strategic goals set forth in the Resolution of the Party Congress.

According to the Party chief, foreign affairs and diplomacy must rise to new heights, truly becoming one of the key, strategic forces in protecting the country early and from afar, maintaining a peaceful, stable, independent, sovereign, and territorial integrity environment, constantly enhancing the country's prestige and position, and effectively contributing to building and defending the Vietnamese Fatherland.
