He praised the council’s efficient work in its political research and consultancy and asked for its report every 6 months. The Party leader urged the Council to fulfill its tasks assigned by the Politbureau on schedule with improved quality:“The Council should promote its independent appraisal with collective discussion and responsibility. It should hold the direction by the Politbureau firmly when advising on issues such as corporate restructuring, farming, land and international integration with solid knowledge on hands.”

The party leader called for more research on the relationship between the ruling Party’s leadership and the socialist state of law, Ho Chi Minh ideology and a review of 50 years implementing President Ho Chi Minh City’s will.
