(VOVWORLD) -The Party and State take care of people with meritorious services to the revolution, embodying the nation's noble moral "Drink water, remember the source", President Nguyen Xuan Phuc said on Saturday leading up to Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27).

President Phuc visited and presented gifts to employees and wounded soldiers of Thuan Thanh Nursing Center in Bac Ninh province. A unit of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Thuan Thanh Center was established in 1965 to care for seriously wounded soldiers.

The President told the wounded and sick soldiers to promote the will of Uncle Ho's soldiers and rise up strong to build the country. He asked for more innovative methods to take better care of wounded and sick soldiers.

Earlier on Saturday, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited 102 years old heroic Mother of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Ngan in Bac Ninh City.
