(VOVworld) – Delegations of Party and State leaders led by Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung laid a wreath at President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on Wednesday on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of southern liberation and national reunification.

The delegates expressed their gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh who is a great leader of Vietnam’s revolution and a national hero. The delegates then laid a wreath at the Monument of War Martyrs.
A delegation of Ho Chi Minh city’s leaders led by Le Thanh Hai, Secretary of Ho Chi Minh Municipal Party Committee offered incense and laid a wreath to commemorate heroes and war martyrs at the city’s Martyrs Cemetery. They also paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at Ho Chi Minh Museum and President Ton Duc Thang at Ton Duc Thang Museum in Ho Chi Minh city.
