(VOVworld) – Pakistan and the US will hold a strategic dialogue in Islamabad this month, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday.

The Strategic Dialogue focuses mainly on energy, security, strategic stability, nonproliferation, counterterrorism, economics, law enforcement and defense-related issues. The two sides will also discuss the development of bilateral ties to strategic partnership and analyze challenges and opportunities for the South Asian region following the drawdown of the International Security Assistance Forces led by NATO from neighboring country, Afghanistan.
